Andrea von Halle is a Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer who specializes in Pre/Post Natal fitness, helping moms feel whole and fit again.
Her specialty includes rehabilitation from diastasis recti, the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles from pregnancy that many women have without their knowledge. Having two c-section births of her own, Andrea has the insight and understanding of postpartum recovery and fitness.
Andrea also specializes in training those with previous or current injuries, as well as those who want to lose weight and gain strength. Having had back surgery herself, she is well versed in training the core to support the spine. Other areas of knowledge include older adult issues such as osteoporosis, training for golfers, and improving posture.
Certifications:
Andrea has been teaching Pilates for 15 years and received her full certification through STOTT PILATES. Her training includes all levels and all equipment. She has been a Personal Trainer in other modalities for 12 years and has received certifications through NASM, NESTA, NFPT, and through Equinox Fitness Club. She came to be a trainer through her extensive background in dance, having been a professional dancer in ballet, modern, and musicals for 20 years.
